Zentanetwork is being developed to maintain offline communication in Zentameshnet. Zentachain native token is called Zenta ($CHAIN). The construction of a fork-free blockchain with Substrate enables Zentalk and Zentavault to make the perfect provision for the ecosystem. The consensus used by Zentanetwork is the Proof of stake (PoS) algorithm. In the Proof of Stake system, validation is performed randomly depending on the number of Zenta in the individuals’ wallet account. The slots for validators will be limited, most of those who want to deploy their Zenta tokens and contribute to the economic security of the Zentanetwork will be nominators.
The validators generate new block candidates. The Nominator’s role is only to have staked their Zenta tokens. The validators can join or leave only when the session changes. Treasury is a pot of funds collected through transaction fees, slashing, staking inefficiencies, etc. The funds held in the Treasury can be spent by making a spending proposal that, if approved by the Council, will enter a waiting period before distribution. This waiting period is known as the budget period, and its duration is subject to governance, with the current set to 40 days. Treasury is used for the Zentanodes, Zentanode owners can ask for Zenta token in a time of 40 days. If the governance can confirm you have been host your node permanently then the hoster will be able to claim some Zenta.
Storage of data
Zentachain is a decentralized ecosystem built for net neutral data- and transactions interchange and data storage, and it is important for us to protect the information exchange over the internet and for decentralized storage of confidential data. Zentavault is a decentralized IPFS cloud storage application that can store data in an encrypted and secure manner and it is the second application of Zentachain. Unlike regular data storage systems, Zentavault will store nothing on the user’s device. Zentavault acts as an encryption delivery tool, with the ability to encrypt and dynamically distribute content securely onto the InterPlanetary File System (IPFS). IPFS is a peer-to-peer distributed file system that seeks to connect all computing devices with the same system of files. By employing peer-to-peer hypermedia protocol technologies such as IPFS, Zentavault is able to achieve a more expeditious, protected, and accessible file storage and transfer service.
